Happy Tuesday!

Happy First Tuesday of July Everyone!

Sorry I've been missing the last two weeks, my new job has been crazy busy, but things are starting to calm down and I am back.

With the last Harry Potter movie coming out next week, and all the great stuff going on in the Cup right now I thought I would do a little entry on some of the cool House Cup Unity things going on this month.

First, are you a Gryffinclaw or a Ravendor? Gryffindor and Ravenclaw are teaming up this month to do a little inter-house unity project for DADA. Students in either house can sign up in their respective threads, and they'll be sorted into one of the combined houses. Each secondary house has a separate thread to do some planning, so join in the fun!

Second, Slytherin's HoH has issued a challenge this month to pour some love on Gryffindor. She's offered up a couple of different options for her Snakes to participate. Looks like a fun challenge to me!

I've been searching for something the 'Puffs might be doing this month and have turned up nothing, but all you Hufflepuff's that doesn't mean you can't show some house unity in any way you can think. Also I'm very sorry if I did miss something, being in Gryffindor I only know that the Hufflepuff common room has muffins, perhaps I should come visit more often for something more than the muffins ;) DADA would be an awesome class by picking a DA member from a different house, or make a gift for another House Cup member!

Know what? It’s Freaky firstie Friday!

I am Aunttallulah newly minted 1^st year Slytherin and new first year blogger.

You may have seen me around. I look like the mad hatter!

Hold on to you Hippogriffs because every Friday I will be bringing love and joy from all your favourite firsties in the cup.

We do have a lounge, but anyone can stop in and have a mini egg or two.

MINI-EGGS? You ask. Yes mini-eggs.

                

As NQFYs it was very quickly established that I have a predilection for the chocolate with a candy coating that’s only available until Easter and then they’re gone! I love them so much I did a project for History of Magic about them.

But I was not alone in my love of them and they quickly became the official candy of the NFQY lounge and now our firstie lounge.

UNITY

One thing that has always been true is that we really bonded together.

So as an NFQY, current  1^st year Gryffindor and awesome mentor RiverCameron began a unity project to pass on to the next class of NQFYs.

In fact, RiverCameron began organizing a First Year Shawl along! But it has caught on like wild fire and has become an HPKCHC unity shawl along. You can find the details in the Great Hall. It will be great fun and no stress, non-points unless you can fit it into your class event!

NQFYs I won’t be ignoring you! We were all in you position once, and we are all here to have fun and support you! So to help you out I am going to talk about you as well. I will  be in and out of your lounge to check on you and write about you here!
