And we're off!

Hello quidditch fans!
It's that time in the week to discuss everyone's favorite game QUIDDITCH!
I'm happy to report that mini-socks are flying around the pitch!
Beautiful skeins of hand dyed yarn are also amongst the offerings. The most popular colours are blues & greens, but I did notice a pretty purple floating around
So far we have had only one handspun sock yarn grace the pitch, but it is gorgeous!

So let's get down to some stats.
As of 7am POT Tuesday, May 22 the unofficial count is as follows:
Ravenclaw: 31
Gryffindor: 39
Slytherin: 41
Hufflepuff: 43

These counts of course are a quick count on my part and is not the gospel!
Look at how close we all are. This will be a nail biter and its far from over.

Ravenclaw has been picking up steam today, and are definitely not out of this!

Just look at how many cuppers have participated. 154 people have been playing quidditch so far. That is approximately 300 mini socks! WOW!
We are only just past the halfway mark now, so just imagine the awesome that will continue into the we hours of the Quidditch.

I want to give a special shout out to fantasium for one of the awesome postings for her mini socks!

Some socks have super powers, some have been ordered by the doom goat. It is truly a sight to behold.

Of course it wouldn't be my blog post without an awesome video to go along with the awesome on the pitch!
