Unofficial Points Update!

It's that time again (and almost time for the month to end -- only 2 ½ more days until July starts!), so here are the unofficial classroom totals for the month of June as of 9:26 a.m. Eastern U.S. (remember, this is for class assignments and OWL points only, no Quidditch or bonuses or any of that goodness is added in, nor are previous points accumulated during May):

SLYTHERIN - 3420

RAVENCLAW - 3275

GRYFFINDOR - 2975

HUFFLEPUFF - 2905

Out of sheer curiosity, this reporter noticed that significantly more OWLs were reaching their 25% mark in the Slytherin and Ravenclaw houses than in Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, so I calculated what the points would be if OWLs were not included in the totals...and sure enough, it leveled the playing field considerably (without OWL points, the class ranking goes Slytherin with 2500, Gryffindor with 2375, Ravenclaw with 2315, and Hufflepuff with 2225). So get out there, students, and make sure you get 25% of your OWL turned in before the end of the month!

Gryffindor - 46 OWLs approved, 15 have reached the 25% mark

Hufflepuff - 42 approved, 17 at 25%

Ravenclaw - 54 approved, 24 at 25%
